Dachau Concentration Camp.
The first Nazi concentration camp (9 March 1933). An epicenter of evil where we see remnants of human life, we hear the cry of history and humanity.
" Work will set you Free". What an irony.
Incredibly amazing for all the wrong reasons. The stick thin figurines, signifying the prisoners that were abused and ill treated in the camp.
This experience was really an eye-opener. Read about the Nazi and how the Jews were treated when I was still schooling but stepping onto the grounds where they were mistreated was really heartbreaking. The prison cells, the living conditions, the diaries, the pictures, the documentary and the remains.. it's really heart-wrenching. Saw the famous gas chamber, their dorms and how boney they were... it's just an epicenter of evil.
Am really glad I get to tour the camp and made it my first stop when I was in Munich. Can't wait to explore more of such places filled with fascinating history!
